Mike has been serving churches since his junior year in college. Some of them were full-time positions and others were part-time – like the position at Grace is. In addition to leading Grace, he teaches Special Education at Demorest Elementary in Habersham County.
He received his ministry preparation at East Texas Baptist University and holds a master’s degree in Business Administration. Mike recently retired from Christian higher education where he worked in Enrollment Management for almost 30 years. His wife Sandy is a Registered Nurse who teaches at Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia. They have six children and five grandchildren.
Kerry joined the team at Grace in 2018 as church secretary.
She holds a computer science degree with a minor in accounting from Ferris State University. She has three children – one attending Toccoa Falls College and the other two she homeschools.
They are both high school students.
These volunteers lead the music at Grace. They use the gift of music to make worship meaningful and inspiring for the people of Grace. Beth directs the Adult Choir who provides special music in the worship services.
